Re: Star Wars Vintage Wave 1 Released in Canada

Juhani's from the KotOR video game so I'm guessing they mistook him for someone from there..

Re: Star Wars Vintage Wave 1 Released in Canada

Haven't seen any of these in my area yet and I am dying to add another Boba Fett to my collection.

The Wal-Marts in my area are picked pretty clean these days...

Re: Star Wars Vintage Wave 1 Released in Canada

I found these at my local walmart here in Oshawa. They also had the DVD packs but not much else in the way of new stuff. And really they only had out 1-2 cases of new products.

As soon as I had a look at these figures, I passed on them. Up close I didn't like the sculpt and paint apps on a lot of these figures. Every Han had a flat head, elgonated nose. And luke looked like a paint by numbers figure.

I'm very dissappointed as I was really looking forward to hopefully getting figures of this wave. I especially wanted Luke. And even though I could repaint him, I don't want to pay full price for a figure I'm not initially happy with.

So if you are looking for the full wave in Canada, Oshawa Walmart has it!

I found these at my local walmart here in North Vancouver. They also had the DVD packs but not much else in the way of new stuff. And really they only had out 1-2 cases of new products.

As soon as I had a look at these figures, I passed on them. Up close I didn't like the sculpt and paint apps on a lot of these figures. Every C-3P0 had a unpainted lower leg. And Han looked like a paint by numbers figure.

I'm very dissappointed as I was really looking forward to hopefully getting figures of this wave. I especially wanted Boba Fett. And even though I could repaint him, I don't want to pay full price for a figure I'm not initially happy with.
