I was at TRU the other day, SMH why did they put the figures back up in price after having them go down to MSRP, now they are 39.99 again for new figures anyways.... I was cool with them having the figures for the price everybody did, but now back to the TRU gouging has me turned off again.

It could just be a temporary increase for the month of January, since this is the month where they are doing the spend $100, save $25 (or spend $50 and save $10) promotion. This way the actual savings are not as good and the store keeps more profit.

We'll see if they drop the prices back to normal once we hit Feb.

Could be another Hasbro price hike too...we should recall TRU was usually first (albeit they were still higher) but they still led the way on price hikes.
