I rarely spend more then $50 on a figure unless its vintage or a 12 inch Dragon WW2 trooper. I guess the most would be Hicks from Aliens for around $110 although I sold him last year for over $400. And the most on a non vintage vehicle would be the Nightboomer from this years con at $250.

Most at one time is a hard one. I've spent $300+ online a few times at places like Smalljoes and Brian's Toys from 2002-10.
Most at retail would probably be in 1993 when I gave a friend $200 and said buy me whatever figures you can find at TRU. This was before our town had a TRU.

and last...not sure if it counts but I did buy 10 sets of the Cobra Infantry 6 packs way back in 2005 for around $300. Wish Hasbro would release more sets like that again.
