Most recent acquisitions:



Yesterday, picked up my Enterbay Bruce Lee figure from the post office and went to Best Buy to get Transformers Season 2 Vol.1 DVD for $19.99 (I think tomorrow's the last day for new release price).

Also got all of Street Fighter IV Round 2 figs days before. Opened up Akuma but I felt like getting another of him to keep in package because he's the illest. Chun Li and Guile will be released from their clamshells later. I regret not getting Ryu and Ken because the sculpting that I first thought was fugly is now actually growing on me.

I sort of regret selling my Ryu now, but I did not really like the face. Akuma is the only one worth it (to me) right now. I would buy Chun-Li but her thighs are so big! I also don't like her face. Hope they don't make Cammy like that if they do make one.

Akuma is awesome though, I'm tempted to buy another myself.

I think NECA's harsh features are fitting for someone like Akuma and other villains, so bring on Sagat, M.Bison, Balrog and such. Vega on the other hand is a pretty boy so NECA might not get him right haha. They might screw up Cammy's face also. I like NECA's articulation over SOTA which is probably making me overlook their harsh sculpting... just a bit. Chun-Li's eyes are also too big... blah. They need to be fixed somehow.

What surprised me that in terms of figure quality, Akuma's joints were ALL tight. Ryu had 2-3 loose parts when I had him, and that was right out of the box. My minor gripes are a) the necklace beads are too big so they like to pop away from his neck, doesn't hold still when I turn his neck and b) his gi could be a bit tighter.

I'm still pretty impressed, and I agree. I will probably buy a Sagat if they make one, I don't think they can screw up too badly. Vega probably won't look as nice since he's not a big bad fighter. I'm praying that they don't mess up Cammy, since I still can't find any of the female Sota toys for a good price, I'd rather just buy the NECA ones where I can examine paint apps/etc.

After I finished paying the teller reminded me how close I was to the Clone Wars manual. She said it was too late to purchase something else to get it (considering she JUST swiped my card) Has anyone else got this? Is it decent/worth making a fuss about? I'm beating myself up now for not buying the other BARC speeder I wanted.
