Interesting - now that we have free shipping on larger orders at Pulse, it is cheaper to order through them than finding it in-store at Toys R Us

Python Patrol Trubble Bubble, Cooperhead and Officer/Trooper came to $149.xx CAD after taxes and conversion

My math on the same order in-store at TRU is $159.xx



That is in Ontario with Ontario taxes and, I will admit, my math could be wrong. But it looks like free shipping is a better deal.

Would even apply to orders on new figure waves from retailers like GameStop and the smaller e-retailers like those that advertise on this site.

Direct from Hasbro is the better or equal alternative it seems. I am ok with that plus nothing down on a pre-order is nice. But all this depends on the $ exchange. Trudeau already printed billions which cheapened its value over the past few years.

The only thing that made Pulse cost prohibitive was the $30US shipping they used to charge. I found without shipping costs, the prices were similar to me just finding it here.

However, there were some like Vypra, I got her at TRU when they were on sale for like $26.xx so I cancelled my Pulse order.

My HISS shipped! says the deliverer is next wed. It's actually shipping from Cali.

it is cheaper. 24.99 US converts to 33 CAD especially with some places marking up to 36.99 a figure it makes a difference.

Yeah now that TRU seems to have come back down to earth they are still the cheaper option with even a 20% off sale.


Granted Pulse also has sales, but for me the local TRU, with a sale, is still the better option. However I am pretty sure I'll be spending a lot more at Pulse in 2024 than previous years.

Another factor for me too is also how much is Gamestop going to F up our membership discounts.......

I was only going off the TRU price for the Trubble Bubble and 2x 35.99 figures (plus taxes)

Then compared vs. my Credit Card statement in CAD. Pulse has the lower number after conversion


But, if TRU has a sale, it will always be the better option
