Man do I love that box art. I know it is just a repaint of the CG art, but getting to see it all in one shot on the front makes the lack of a window box a little more palatable.

Looks good and fairly faithful to the original design, can't wait to get one.

No way. These windowless boxes are final sale at TRU. I'm not putting up with their overpriced BS if I can't even see what's inside. I think I'm done with Classified at this point.

Hey, there is the black backpack that should have come with the main release again

In anycase, Python Patrol are all an easy pass for me.

Is this confirmed at TRU? If more retailers go the final sale route with these blind boxes then I think I will be winding down my collecting. Especially coupled with Hasbro's worsening QC issues.

It was confirmed. It was published on their website I believe too.

That's one way to get rid of having to sell "collectors items" I'm sure a few people won't buy from them again. Especially if more lines go to the packaging where you can't see the item.

So basically, windowless packages are 'collector figures' now, but anything with the older style packaging isn't? I ask that because I was able to return a TF Outback just after Christmas with no hassle.

Basically. The only time I've actually run into a "final sale" item was the Marvel Legends Spider-Man Noir exclusive. Though it only said "final sale" on the receipt, and the policy wasn't posted anywhere in store. Another store had print-outs saying "final sale", but only in the MOTU section, and none of the MOTU figures were actually final sale.

Regardless, I'm betting all windowless figure boxes will fall into this category, since the employees can't see what's in the box, either, when doing a return. Also, some stores in my area have been rearranging their shelves, and moving the Marvel Legends and GI Joe Classified figures to the collectibles section next to Funko Pops, ReAction, and NECA figures. So who knows if they might apply the final sale policy to the entire lines, like they have with Funko Pops (which have windows, and aren't even sealed with tape).

But yeah, with TRU's crazy prices, and now final sale on presumably all windowless figures, I'm not even gonna bother anymore. Especially not for lame repaints of figures that I've already army built.

Dunzo.
