The Dollarama in town only had the knockoff Lego GI Joe Ninja Commando dune buggy a couple of days ago, but today they put out the Skystriker and HISS as well.

Got all three of the larger sets today at the Dollarama in the plaza with Costco on Strandherd near the 416 (Barrhaven).


Skystriker, HISS and AWE (Ninja Commando 4x4). They had a good number of each, but the HISS is clearly the favourite since there were only a few left of that one.

What’s the quality like on these? I know they’re nowhere near Lego but do they at least hold together ?

Most hold together well enough for display, but they all have some niggling issues with connections and overall quality of the plastic. Not worth the original prices, but for $5 a set? Sure why not.
