The Gundam Model Kit Thread

Post your pictures, links and talk about the Gundams.

Right now I'm waiting for the 1/100 00 Riser kit to show up at the hobby stores.
It's such a good looking kit.

Ah ok, I never really got into Gundam manga. I have some of the Wing books, and the first 2 volumes of Seed Astray, that's it.

Re: The Gundam Model Kit Thread

Expect new gundam kits to arrive in about 1-2 months later than release dates in Japan, that is because most retailers ship by sea mail to lower costs.

Hobbywave is pretty good for gundams, $15 USD flat rate shipping, no taxes or brokerage fees, and shipped by UPS. I have not shopped from them, but all my gunpla friends swear by them.

I am itching to snap up my MG Unicorn and to pick up my MG Sinanju from a friend, sadly those gold stickers will take about 3 hours to apply on properly.

Re: The Gundam Model Kit Thread

I have a small Epyon kit at home...I don't know what size, but I'd be surprised if it would be more than 12 inches tall assembled. I bought it years ago on clearance at a Hobby Store in Mississauga, $10...I've never taken it out of the box...I should probably build it. But I'll have to buy paints and everything...I have nothing that I'd need to build it.
