Re: Hot Toys 1989 Batmobile Scans
Back when Hot Toys showed the 1:6 scale Tumbler for The Dark Knight I was so looking forward to a 1:6 version of Michael Keaton as Batman and his Batmobile.
They say wisdom come with age. 5 years later I know I need not to have one. I've got tons of Batmobiles in my collection from the glorious 1:18 Hot Wheels batmobile, to the smaller scaled 1:64 HW. I even manage to find a used Batman Returns Batmobile from Batman Returns.
I really don't feel interested anymore in getting a 1:6 scale Batmobile which will take up way too much space and way too expensive for a toy. I'm not saying it's not worth the money but I sure know how to spend that chunk of money in a better way.
Besides, 1:6 figures are very well made high end collectable. It will be a shame to hide Keaton Bats inside the Batmobile. Would be silly to spend more than $500 on a Batmobile "back drop" as well.
