And yes. Still looking for one myself.
I saw two in two different GameStops around Montreal several months ago, but that was it

The more likely aspect is because Azrael Batman was Gold Label, McFarlane is probably gonna repaint the figure in its red/gold/gray colours with a more mecha head from the end of the Knightfall storyline.

Although it's a bit wonky because why would you make the blue suit the Gold Label, when the red suit better fits that.

Making a desirable character hard to get is marketing 101. It engrains a fear of missing out, and leads to more buying overall. They've got to make the "chase" figures so that we have something to chase. Otherwise it's just figures on the pegs.

Since I like to tinker with model kits, I'm iffy about $260 on Gamestop, so I'm thinking of getting the Spinmaster and customizing w/ paint + topcoat and adding cockpit features.
Not sure about this one. Chances are it may just skip Canada.
I don't recall Spinmaster had any store exclusive items before.

That's true. FOMO seems to be a major part of these companies' business models, which is unfortunate because there are always going to be new buyers from people who grew up post-Knightfall (and other runs for that matter) and think Azrael Batman looks cool.

The strange part is the prices on eBay + Amazon third party sellers seem to be hitting $100 CAD (including shipping). At this point, you're really better off getting the Mafex since it's still pretty widely available whether that's through import sites or domestic toy sites.

That'd be annoying if it skips Canada, though I think its unlikely given it's part of the Flash movie line. Maybe I got baited by people who got it early from Target and assumed it was an exclusive.

Got Gladiator Batman, that wave is out now.

It's a very McFarlane figure.

Toynewsi.com posted some in-hand photos of the upcoming Gold Label Impulse figure, which will be a Target exclusive in the U.S.

Hopefully Toys R Us will carry the figure in Canada, seeing how they usually get the Target exclusives.

Uh, isn't Impulse meant to be a lot shorter than that?

Just be happier he isn't TALLER than Flash. McFarlane doesn't know the meaning of the word "scale."

Just take a look at the new Superboy with leather jacket...

That's a good price all things considered. Just not sure this will be worth the price in the end though. Here's hoping it is worth that price in hand.
To be fair, McF tends to undercut their own prices for the Canadian market.

Based purely on currency exchange, it would be $350.
