Re: A member of the Fantastic Four is dead (spoilers)
I'm eager to read this one, but comic deaths have become pretty meaningless. He'll be back sooner or later. Fantastic Four will start with a new number 1 sooner or later. And sooner or later after that, Fantastic Four will return to it's original numbering when they hit that next milestone issue.

Re: A member of the Fantastic Four is dead (spoilers)
Is it a sad sign of the times that I won't even bother to click on the link to find out who is dead? How long did it take Reed Richards to come back from the dead after the writer swore that Reed would remain dead so long as he was writing the book? Then he himself wrote Reed's return anyway.
So cynical of Marvel death have I become... if only real life worked the same way, I'd have my lucky pet goldfish back too.

That kinda sucks. Wasn't expecting him to be the one to go. I guess the question now is when will Marvel resurrect the character. Comic book characters don't usually stay on an extended hiatus.

Maybe Sue can make a deal with Mephisto to bring Johnny back to life and end her marriage to Reed, cause that sounds pretty Joe Q. to me.

I thought it was going to be Torch. So they've killed of Reed and Ben. Have they ever killed of Sue? Or are they waiting in 10 years to do that?

Re: A member of the Fantastic Four is dead (spoilers)
Is the last F4 arc with the death any good? Kinda of interested in reading it, most likely gonna be a sacrifice situation. Not much of a F4 fan, but I figured it might have been either Johnny or Sue. Since I'm following the Avenger comics I know Reed has the Illuminati/Infinity Gem going on right now, and Ben is with the New Avengers and they already killed "a member" in that series during the last arc.
