I was livid about that too.

Basically now if you want MOTU figs you have to go with the site sponsors, or Amazon. Walmart and TRU have abandoned MOTU.

And with Amazon, it might be better to go with Amazon.com than Amazon.ca which seems to only sporadically get in some waves, but not all, and even when they do, it feels hit or miss.

I saw Hordak come up for $27 on .ca the other day but it was out of stock though you could still order it and hope you get lucky. I placed an order even though I'm skeptical. Amazon made me wait 6 months before they ended up cancelling my order of Prince Adam and Cringer.

Well hot damn!!!

https://toyhabits.com/battle-for-ete...-and-preorder/

So this set is up for preorder at site sponsor DJC Collecctibles ($110Cdn).

I love this set!! A troop builder pack with all new characters is great, and most of them look incredible as well.

I think the only clunker of the set is the Pit Warden (Snake Men). I like the Two-Bad(esque) design, but dual head doesn't look all that well executed, and the colour scheme is a bit off (in my opinion).

The other three all are pretty much a tie for me.

The Paragon Champion (Kingsuard of Eternia) has so much great stuff going on. The Man-At-Arms head, the blue cape, the hammer, the white on blue colour. Just everything about it looks great.

The Horde Revenant looks like a great evil Knight. I love the head sculpt and the armour looks great. Maybe the only downside is the staff. It looks okay, but I would have preferred a flail or sword with a shield.

The Skel-Knight kind of eats into the Skelcon look, but I think it looks great. And that SWORD!!!

Overall such a great set and a great addition to the MOTU brand.

Re: Masters of the Universe Origins discussion

Since jan 1, mattel creation don't ship to quebec. I called them and e-mail them and got no answer as to why. Search around for an answer and saw somewhere that it was probably because of the law about french on packaging .

So I recently bought Rio Blast on ebay and when I got it what did I saw...French on the figure card and French on the shipping box so WTF. Tried to ask the ebay seller how he got it but he is not replying.

I've got all the motu origins on card and was not planning to stop the line here , to get them for double the price suck.

Collecting is getting harder as time go by.

Yeah I noticed that He-Ro had French on the shipper box when he arrived and said Mattel Canada (Mississauga, Ontario).

So probably just not interested in dealing with the hassle and sticking to the rest of Canada. Though it isn't exactly easy to order from Mattel Creations anyway. Every time I try to order I have to checkout out as a guest because it won't let me order while signed in.

Also considering they don't even sell MOTU anymore through Walmart or TRU or Gamestop, and the selection is limited at Amazon, it is becoming less and less worth it to keep trying to collect.

Started a thread here:

https://www.actionfigurenews.ca/boar...ad.php?t=42333

Basically the only places in Canada, for now, that has them up for preorder are some of the site sponsors (DJC Collectibles, Zed Collectibles & Ages 3 & Up).
