Toynewsi.com posted some pics of the upcoming retro package Beach-Head, Cobra Eel and Cobra Snow Serpent from the recent WonderCon.

Looking good. I missed out on the Eel the first time around so I'll be glad to snag a couple this time around.

Snow Serpent and Beachhead also look great.


Too bad they didn't have a copy of the Ferret there. That thing looks like a beast. I hate to think what they will ask for it on Pulse (it is a Pulse exclusive). Probably more than the Trouble Bubble, but hopefully not as much as the HMS.

B.Head looks cool. Overall I prefer the CI "with new hat" version but the camo pants pops better on the retro release.

Also prefer the first S.Serpent but the blue does have appeal, especially if you are into more toon like colours. Good release but I am happy I got the deluxe version, rocket launchers and snow boards are kick ass.

Other than the harpoon strap being blue and the air tank having a cobra symbol, I can't see any difference between this Eel and the Amazon version.

OK...can someone enlighten me on the "chocolate bar" that comes with Quick Kick?

Like, is this a gimmick from the show that I've forgotten or some such?

(It was certainly an... interesting accessory choice; first time I ever uttered WTF out loud upon opening one of these! )

Fudgie bars are the only way to get Bazooka to do anything.

Also required to survive frozen arctic temperatures while wearing no shoes or shirt.

Also a reference to Quick Kicks intro episode as he was an actor shooting a commercial.

Loooooove me some retro! Beach Head is interesting because I thought he'd come with more new parts. But...he still looks totally retro, so I am right as rain with it. The Snow Serpent...yep love it. Love the bright blues. The gun is a bit strange, I don't see why they couldn't have given him an Alley Viper or Officer AK since the og figure came with an AK style rifle, but, whatever; re-arming these figures is one of my great joys with this line.

Eel will be a pickup but I wish I was able to get the first Snow Serpent. I don't have much hope for a restock of that now or the Acrtic BAT which I also couldn't get.

Used the new Action Sailor to make myself a Wet Down figure to go with Torpedo. Wet Down was basically Torpedo with darker greys and black shoes.

I didn't want to paint so I just put the Action Sailor head and boots onto a Torpedo to make him a little different. Had to change the pants on my Action Sailor though since it would look weird with the grey Torpedo boots.
