So disappointed in this.. I hate 3D and i was excited for the movie. Now its going to be a major flop because no one will care about it in 9 months, so its goign to be a major hit for one of our favorite toy lines. I dont see how hasbro can be OK with this, all their toys have already hit shelves, what are they going to do once the movie finally hits?

It just doesn't strike me as a logical decision for them.
MGM making more money in the theaters by 3D'ing this I could almost see, but for Hasbro - who's selling toys - it really doesn't seem to make a lot of sense.

This definitely smells of a decision made by the studio, not Hasbro. There's no way Hasbro would risk the the fury of retailers a second time after the massive debacle that was RoC... with this delay, the stores are stuck with expensive, crappy unarticulated figures that don't have a movie vehicle to push them onto kids.
