Re: Star Wars Black Series discussion

Pablo Hidalgo specified that the guy in the flashback was a Human

A lot of people are saying it's a flachback of the Knights of Ren killing Luke's Jedi Order.

Re: Star Wars Black Series discussion

Seems like the pegs are pretty much empty out my way too. I'm not expecting to see any major re-stocking until January. Unrelated but it seems like several Walmarts are loading up with the Marvel Legends Hulkbuster wave now though.

UPDATE:

So I was just on eBay and saw that the newest wave of 6" figures are getting crazy bids:

EP VII Han- 28 bids currently $250 USD
FO Finn- 16 bids currently $154.50 USD
Jango Fett- 17 bids currently $142.50 USD

Who the hell is willing to spend that ammount of cash? Has to be fake.

Honestly the only 6" figures I have seen in the past couple weeks has been Finn, and few random Poe and the Enforcer.

I'm getting quite fed up with the poor distrobution.

Re: Star Wars Black Series discussion

US has had Hux wave 4 for a bit. We've already seen wave 5 so I'm hoping wave 4 didn't skip Canada.

Here's an interesting article about the repacks. Sight differences apparently.

^ Yeah, I read that article on the fwoosh too!

That redone Rey almost makes me want to grab another one of her for those improvements. I sold the figure I had (the first run of her) because it was such a blah looking figure...

Re: Star Wars Black Series discussion

I don't necessarily believe the BB-8 is improved. I have two of them that I bought during force Friday and they have excellent washes on the body. But mind you, I have to sift through many to get two I was happy with. Same with Kylo's silver paint on his mask. Some I saw literally had almost paint apps. But this new version has a new cape which looks cool. Bit the saber is still inferior to the Kmart version.

Rey, another figure I had to sift through many to find two I liked. Her paint looks pretty good on mine.

The resistance trooper is interesting. I have one I got from Walmart when they first were released (in US too) and I apparently have the updated one with the darker helmet. I don't think we ever got the green one?

What they need to do is update Pilot Poe. He looks like a damn drunken cross-eyed monkey. I had to swap a Riot Control 2-pack Poe head for the monkey head to make it look normal.

Re: Star Wars Black Series discussion

Yeah I got the Resistance Trooper and his helmet is dark brown too.

I wonder if that will drive the price up of the rarer green helmeted trooper. The return of the Star Wars Chase Figure?!

And I lucked out that the Poe I got has decent eyes, but the head sculpt and paint on the Poe from the two pack is much better.
