Re: Star Wars Black Series discussion

Selfie Series figures (60 USD) shown early today have Plastic Free packaging. Paper/Cardboard outer sleeve covering a figure in a giant open window.

May be a sneak peek of BS6 packaging in 2023?

I know plastic free packaging is coming for everything eventually, but for these figures it actually makes some sense since it's a one-time custom item each time.

This is most likely what the new Star Wars Black Series packaging will look like:

I think the recent ML packaging reveals, and comments from different brand teams, has made it more likely that the decision has been made.

The packaging has been completely sealed, no window (basic Thor: L&T, upcoming Spiderman). Then some brand team members have mentioned the problem of securing figures, especially the heads, in plastic free packaging with even a small window. So most likely we'll see completely sealed boxes in the near future.

Reva, $36. Do the arms look a tad too long to anyone else?

A tad long, thighs look a bit heavy too.

I'm going to wait until I see the Kenobi show in full before I decide if I want to order her or not. After Book of Boba Fett, I've learned my lesson about not letting hype suck me into pre-ordering stuff unless I know the story behind it is going to be well done.

Yea it?s funny that I was about to bail on boba then I got to the Mando arc and got sucked back in. The only thing that threw the show off for me was his time with the tuskan cult.

Re: Star Wars Black Series discussion

If the rumors are true, the producers and executives knew that BoBF was sucking badly, and they edited in the first two episodes of season 3 into BoBF to save it from a total disaster (and it certainly worked, a better deepfake Luke alone, kept me watching)
