Nothing is changing with Walmart and Hasbro. Don't buy into the "panic" like some places online a couple months ago when they were saying Target was dumping ML. It isn't happening. Walmart is still going to carry Hasbro, it is just that Hasbro seems to be garbage at getting product on shelves compared to Mattel and MacFarlane. Hence why we haven't seen much from GI Joe, TF, PR, SW, ML on shelves regularly compared to the other companies.


Does that mean they will carry the Collector Con exclusives? Probably not, I mean Walmart Canada has been terrible at stocking Walmart exclusives. Whether that is not stock at all, or delays that result in stock showing up much later, or limited amounts that never make it to shelves, it doesn't really matter. If anything, it is probably better to have the exclusives not come to Walmart Canada since it seems the other retail channels (GS, TRU (yuck), or fan channel) are more than willing to pick up the slack if offered.


Then of course you have the fact that Walmart Canada doesn't even partake in the Collector Con. I mean they don't do anything with it, so it seems to be a US only type of situation. Just more reason to keep your eyes open, and hope something happens up here.

I recall that on YouTube, Spector Creative pointing out that Target seems to have dropped the Marvel Legends line due to very poor sales (presumably blamed on carrying flops like The Eternals) so perhaps Walmart is following suit?

That said, Walmart is carrying the latest ML and SW figures on their website, so unless this is a last gasp before they stop any more orders, I don't think it's dead yet.

I'm confused... did some go up early on the night of the 20th and sell out already? I see 1 BS6 is available now and 1 ML Black Panther, but the others say Sold Out already. Gonna be a lot of Happy Campers with nothing to preorder at 7AM EDT...

This is insane, I got up early at 5:30am and thought I'd get ready to fight the bots for the pre-order, but instead Walmart just goes ahead and posts the order links at 1am???

The 1-JAC is still available for pre-order but Purge Trooper is sold out.

We'll see what happens at 10am EST but really, this all smacks of the usual Walmart incompetence when it comes to handling exclusives.
