For anyone who were on the fence definitely buy it at this price, it really is a great Spider-Man.

There was a lot of "griping" about the inaccurate symbol on his back (wrong colour). Plus that fact that while it is based on a great design, I personally don't see it being worth $43+tax.


Even at $30 I am not really moved to get one, and that is funny considering I just got an email notice that my $36 Retro cel-shaded Spiderman is out for delivery.

That being said, these are the fair prices many of these figures should have been.

No progress on mine.
Amazon.ca just dropped their price to the same $40 price point, so I cancelled my Walmart order and bought it from there instead.

Doesn't surprise me in the least. Those are not the spider-man colours fans associate most for the ultimate spidey figure and thus there's less of an incentive for people to pay an almost $10 premium over standard marvel legends releases. $43 for this figure was downright nuts.

Has anyone ever contacted Hasbro about getting replacement pieces?

I contacted them many times and it's the same answer everytime:

We don't have replacement parts. We will send you a postage paid label for you to ship this toy back to us (including all figures and accessories it came with) so we can send you something of equal value.


Better to just exchange it on Amazon for the same product.
