..im not sure where to post this so if this happens to be in the wrong section please feel free to move it along to the proper one.
i have a wierdish question to see what some of you might think of this idea...so here it goes
i have a mu galactus figure who i was foolish enough to wash with dish soap after getting speggti sauce on it...i say foolish because apparently that skirt portion of this figure has a coating on it to protect and hid molding impurities.
i have tried near everything to fix the this. it looks "ruff" in patches all over the skirt now where the molding impurities where covered before. and i was thinking of trying a light coat of future on it to give it back that protective coating it had from the factory.
i worried that in doing so i may be doing MORE damage to it in the long run while only making it appear better.
anyone have any opinion on this or personal experience?
i went ahead and just did it...i figured if it messed it up its no better then it was before. it looks good, it matches the shine of his upper chest armor perfectly now so im happy with it =]
i suppose its just a wait and see thing to find out its affects on this kind of soft material. ill probably be looking for a new replacement just in case and keep it misb.
how did you get spaghetti sauce on galactus? I think his only weakness was the ultimate nullifier, wocka wocka ;D
lol, it was my little nephew flinging his lunch around like a monkey trying to eat with a stick.
i can report that future has no short term side affects on soft materials. its flexs with it and is otherwise just a normal gloss coating with a fresh clean scent!
