Yep. Hasbro mentioned the price increase a few weeks ago. Set to take effect for releases by summer.

So I guess they are just going to use the Spider-Man Retro line to spoon feed everyone a bunch of Spider-Man's now? Where is the animated Carnage,Venom, Doc Oc? what a disappointment that line has become. That price increase is nuts too. $33.99.. if this transfers over to Black series as well I think I'm done with Hasbro. Nearly $39 for a figure after tax. I wouldn't have a problem paying that much if these were worth that price but they really aren't.
