I'm in the Star Wars Essential Atlas!

As some of you may know, I'm a pretty big Star Wars geek as well as a Transformers geek.

I regularly contribute to discussion on www.theforce.net 's forums about all things Star Wars, including a thread dedicated to Galactic Cartography.

Well this week the newest Star Wars Guide came out, The Essential Atlas. On the back of the second page authors Dan Wallace and Jason Fry offer author acknowledgments to numerous folk, including the artists and researchers of the Atlas, Novel and Comic Authors who've contributted ideas to the Atlas and a short list of user names from The Force.nets forums(Which both authors regularly contribute to as well.)

Amongst the 16 user names acknowledged you will find the name Robimus. Rest assured that is me(and not some other Robimus as my loving wife suggested).

My main passion within the Star Wars EU is for the Imperial Remnant and some of my idea's(as well as many others) apparently served as inspiration for the placement of planets in the book.

The Imperial Remnant is the all thats left of Emperor Palpatine's once galaxy spanning Empire some, 20 year after A New Hope in the timeline.

I've only just begun flipping through the Atlas and can say thats its an incredible achievment of the Star Wars EU.

The only contribution I once suggested that I've noticed thus far is the inclusion of Kalee(General Grievous's Homeworld) as a part of the Imperial Remnant some 40 years after the Battle of Yavin.(A New Hope)

Needless to say I'm feeling quite honored even though my contributions to the Cartography discussion have been quite limited on Force.net

Thanks to Dan and Jason, they made my week.
