Re: Star Wars Black Series discussion

I just opened a 1-JAC and his head fell off before getting him even out of the blister. wtf! It had minor package damage so it was only $20. I hope Walmart will accept a return on it.

Is this common? I don't buy too many Black Series and rarely open them. The only other was a Jedi Luke and his lightsabre broke by just standing there.

As long as you have the packaging and receipt, Walmart is usually pretty good about returns from my couple of figure related experiences.

How do they break from just standing there or is that just an exaggeration?

Someone reported that their Frankie Raye Nova from the Galactus Haslab had her head snap off after taking her out and moving the head.

I had the same situation with a Flash figure a few years ago. I opened the box, and when I pulled the tray out the head fell out, completely broken from the neck. So it can happen and you don't know/notice until you get the figure out of the package.

I open everything, never had anything break. So I wouldn?t say its common.

GameStops seem to be getting the protocol droid, I saw one on the shelf in one of the Halifax locations yesterday (along with the white Wookie).

Price was either $44.99 or $42.99 for the droid (before Edge discount), so if you want one of these, that's a pretty decent amount cheaper than TRU at $54.99.

As a note, the Wookie was $49.99 before Edge discount.

I'll have to call them tomorrow.

But it's not up on EB Games website yet, is it?
