Yeah, I guess it's possible they only offered the first run to the big box stores and held off on offering the bulk of the capacity to everyone else.

It's just a bit odd as it's different than the normal procedure.

A.Viper/BAT is expected to roll out at the start of Jan in Canada but there won't be enough stock for pre-orders and not all retailers will be able to get them. This pertains to online retailers. In-store is another story which nobody has legit info on so far.

June/July is the expected full scale roll out which is to say everyone who wants one should be able to score it with ease at retail price from multiple vendors. Much like the infantry and ninjas now.

I imagine we will see BBQ before the army builders hit shelves.
Not to derail this, but where are you seeing Infantry and Ninja's at retail? The GTA is still a dead zone for those at retail. I've still only ever seen them on Amazon.

Ah ok. When you said retail, I thought you meant brick & mortar retail stores.

Pulse made delivery. Hate spending $20 above retail on it but I'm glad to be done the entirety of my wanted 2021 releases.

I fully expect a TRU sighting of this guy like tomorrow.

Thank you for your sacrifice good sir.

I shall dance with my BBQ when he shows up tomorrow on TRU shelves.

The good thing about BBQ is that he is not a high demand figure, even as a Cobra Island exclusive. I still think he'll show up at TRU in the new year, especially after seeing how many were being found on shelves at Target recently. So I can wait, but even if he doesn't he won't be crazy expensive on the secondary market.

Mine arrived this afternoon and I just unboxed him. It pains me to see how well Hasbro can pull off a 6" figure with this bloody Classified line.

Sure, they have to pay royalties to Disney for Marvel and Star Wars, but is the cost difference so great such that the attention to detail and overall design of the figures would be this much better?

GI Joe was my favourite line growing up and I didn't realize just how much I enjoyed collecting the figures and how this new line might reignite that passion. It wouldn't be bittersweet if we actually saw these things in actual stores. They need to drop these Target exclusives or at minimum, give Target unofficial/alternative paint schemes such as Tiger Force, and leave the mainstream stuff to everyone else.

Anyhow, that's my sour way of indicating BBQ is an excellent figure and really pays homage to the original ARAH.

Side note: I found a bunch of maisto 1:12 scale model kits of various motorcycles at bradford Marshalls. They were $14.99 each.

I picked up a Ducati (black) and a Kawasaki (green) bike. These work well with 6” figures. It’s in a sealed box with a Velcro closed front window.

You put it all together too.

The Ducati went together very nicely and snake eyes works well with it.

If they had any Harley’s I would have grabbed one for zartan.

Cool! Snap kits, or glue required?
