I noticed today that my local Toys R Us jacked up the prices on all G.I. Joes by a few dollars. Their website prices are unchanged, though.

TRU upped all Hasbro prices. Star Wars and Marvel are 44.99 now. Insane.

Seems as if they were dumping excess stock that was sitting for too long with all those sale they had last year. Sounds like the
Party is over now and it's back to ripping off the customer. Can't tell you how tired I am of these greedy companies trying to bleed us all dry.

with Fan Channels looking like they will get the TF and PP exclusives I'm done with them. $90 for the steel brigade two pack when its on Amazon for $65 WTH.

Has anyone Metalhead order shipped from Amazon? Mine still says tomorrow but it hasn't shipped

I just hope amazon doesn't price match TRU! I don't understand how amazon's pricing algorithms work, but I have seen several times in recent years when they have ships from and sold by amazon well above the actual retail price.

Also, they used to drop their prices to match TRU sale prices. But TRU sale prices won't be any kind of deal unless they hit clearance. So hoping to pick up the odd figure from amazon during a TRU sale isn't all that enticing either.

Fan channels are great, and they have their place, but sales are fewer and further between than normal retail. Bottom line is, collecting is more expensive all around when the likes of TRU isn't playing nice.

My Metal-Head has not shipped either. But everywhere else I see him (Gamestop, Pulse, Amazon.com, etc) show his release date for April 10th.
So I'm thinking Amazon.ca screwed up his release date and I'm now expecting to see movement on my .ca order closer to the April release date.
