I'm waiting until the retro card War Machine goes on Clearance until I pick it up as I have the first already and would only buy this one so I can display with helmet on helmet off. I'm pretty positive it will too as the original release was over produced and tons of people managed to get one so I can't see this version being too popular

Double dipping and the appeal of the Retro card for in box collectors. That deluxe War Machine was literally everywhere when it came out and was on deep clearance within the same year at every big box retailer. You can still find the deluxe War Machine online for retail and that's a very big sign that a figure was either over produced or unpopular at release.

Yup that Deluxe War Machine was everywhere. Clearanced at Wal-Marts. I never got it though. I prefer the paint on this new one, must be the "Marvel Vs Capcom" look.
I've only seen this in Gamestop. But maybe it will be in other retailers later.
