Re: First Look: DC All-Stars Wave 2
Anyone care to explain what the difference is between this flash and any other of the flashes? I really don't see the dif in this new 52 design

Not really sure, but I think the only differences are the boots and possibly that sculpted Flash Logo.

Re: First Look: DC All-Stars Wave 2
I think it's mainly the sculpted raised logo.
It's really a shame that these new 52 figures are just minor tweeks of the previous body sculpts. The news costumes suppose to have more detailed lining on their uniforms. And for Flash, the black lining are suppose to glow yellow when he's charged up with the speed force.

Re: First Look: DC All-Stars Wave 2
This is exactly why I got out of DCUC for the most part. This line is nothing but a lot of repaints and reused body parts. But the price keeps going higher and higher at retail. Until they show me something brand new and inspired, I'm pretty much sitting this line out indefinitely. The four horsemen or whoever are cool and all, but Mattel needs new blood, or the DC property needs to be taken up by someone other than them.

Re: First Look: DC All-Stars Wave 2
The DCnU Flash also has the trademark Jim Lee chin guard.
pud333, I don't think the problem is The Four Horsemen. They are truly creative if you like at their 7th Kingdom and Gothitropolis lines. Heck, even the earlier Mattel Batman and DC Superheroes had many unique sculpts designed by 4H. Mattel's cheapness is the problem as they've directed 4H to re-use base body parts as much as possible so they don't have to invest in new molds. 4H have created many accessories during the Two-Up development stage that Mattel dropped before going to production (i.e. Nekron's scythe).
That said I am also suffering from DCUC fatigue from the endless repaints of Hal Jordan.

Re: First Look: DC All-Stars Wave 2
I'm sticking with the old DCU, since I'm not really happy with the DCnU idea. So thankfully I'm only in for a figure or 2/wave, thus keeping costs down.

Hmm, I'll probably go for the new 52 Sups and Flash.
