It's pretty impressive I'll grant you, but my interest just doesn't include the Technic stuff. Still, I have to say that is a far cry better than the old little Technic car I used to have as a kid. Of course mine was a racer I think... Ugh, it's the only set I have trouble pinpointing what I actually had, but I still have the chair that it came with. So I know I did have it at some point, just not what it was.

Anybody pick up those new Pharaoh's Quest sets yet?

^ The Pyramid set with a giant Scorpion and a figure flying around reminds me of a ROTF scene I'm looking for Harry Potter sets that seem to have sold out

I'm interested in the pyramid set myself, just waiting for a 40+% off sale and I'll get two so I can build a solid pyramid instead of the 2/3 pyramid that one set assembles.

Re: The LEGO thread

Another TRU sale the next two weeks for LEGO products starts today. 20% off LEGO City, Atlantis, Basic Buckets and Box Sets.

Not much of a markdown on some of the more expensive sets, but great for troop building some of the smaller sets if you buy up two or more of them. Looks like I'll be going to TRU this weekend and getting another Atlantis set perhaps.

Pics of Series 5

Here's some pics from a dealers catalogue that've been going around today. I don't think they look too bad. Not as exciting as earlier series, but still fun.

Re: The LEGO thread

I wish LEGO would give us another production run of Series 1 & 2 the demand is still there for these little suckers and I WANT MORE! Or rather, to Complete my Series 1 collection and start on Series 2... Curse me for waiting so long to nab any of them.

Series 3 has just come out and if I'm lucky they won't sell out before I can get my cash tomorrow and go on a little shopping trip to at least pick up three or four figures. (Can't get all 16 in one go like some people, that's the problem. SIGH.)
