Welcome to the AFN 2011 Action Figure of the Year Awards! This year we have made some changes to the event so be sure to read through the rules. Any and all Action Figures released worldwide in 2011 are open to voting in this years contest. Just be sure to put them in the correct category based on their size.
The categories are: (Just click on them to head over and vote!)
4 Inch Action Figures: This category includes all basic action figures roughly 4 inchs in height or less, including Transformers Scout sized figures.
6 Inch Action Figures: This category includes all actions figures roughly 6 inchs in height, including Transformers Deluxe sized figures.
12 Inch Action Figures This category includes all Action Figures roughly 12 inchs in height or taller, including figures like Marvel Universe Galactus, Transformers Voyager Class figures and more.
*The winning figure of each of the three above categories will procede to the next round which will be a poll to determine the 2011 AFN Action Figure of the Year!
Additional categories:
Best Vehicle/Playset: We've seen a lot of vehicles and playsets released over the past 12 months from numerous different toy lines. Vote for your favorites here.
Best Building Set: This category is for the all the building enthusiasts and would include building sets like Lego, Kre-O and Megablocks.
Voting
Vote for your favorite five (or less) figures of 2011 in any or all categories of your choosing, A scoring system is in place to determine the top five figures in each category so be sure to mark your picks in your order of preference to maximize their scoring potential.
First Place = 5 Points
Second Place = 4 Points
Third Place = 3 Points
Fourth Place = 2 Points
Fifth Place = 1 Points
Final point totals will determine the rankings in each individual category, with the winner from the 4, 6 and 12 inch categories advancing to the final round with the winner being named the AFN Action Figure of the Year!
Two voting options exist.
1. Vote in the corresponding thread, placing your choices in a post.
2. PM your votes to
Robimus. Be sure to include the category you are voting in in the PM if you don't wish to post them for the public.
A running total will be displayed atop each category thread and will be updated on a weekly basis.
Voting will run from December 5th until December 21st in the individual categories with voting for the finals taking place between Dec 22nd and Dec 31st.
On January 1st the AFN Action Figure of the Year will be crowned.
*Note: Be sure to be specific when submiting your votes. For instance don't just vote for "Wolverine" as Action Figure of the year. Be sure to include all prevelent information such as "X-Men First Class Wolverine"*
