Spiderman Marvel Legends Price Jump?
So when the spidey legends started to pop up at walmart they were 19.92 and that was cool and everything, but then when i went to walmart yesterday their prices were raised 3 more dollars. I wonder what happened. Anyone else notice that? Target so far has stopped getting the legends figs, and even on sale the spidey legends do not move from tru.

I noticed it a few days ago and commented on the boards about it too. I think they realized that they thought they were "undercharging" on them and put their price up to "be more inline" with other retailers.
Either way it sucks! I am just glad I completed my set when it was still under $20 so now they can just sit there.
Despite the price increase it is still $4 cheaper than TRU so we are little luckier in that regard...but just a little.

darnit...just went to Walmart yesterday and yes....they jack up theyre prices for spiderman figs....anyway well just have to wait for some sale to happen....

They increased the price at my local Walmart at well. But I was able to argue for the $19.92 price, as they still had a peg or two marked at that.

Scan before you buy, they may still ring up at $19.92. I picked up Toxin, Spider-Girl and Boomerang earlier this week at that price even though the shelf tag said $22.92.

Did you ask about SCOP?
You could have got an extra $10 off of one figure at $19.92 making the price $9.92.

I was not aware of SCOP (had to google it just now). Ahh, I wish I did know now. I could have argued for that... At the same time I think they could have countered as I saw 2 different price stickers for the MLs. One marked at $19.92 and the other $22.92.

At Wal-Mart they have a blue sticker near every cash register that tells you about SCOP. Since the price tag was left at $19.92 on the peg you would have been entitled to have SCOP applied to all your figures regardless of the $22.92 label. It is Wal-Mart's fault for leaving that price tag on the peg.
A Toxin or Spider-Girl for $9.92 would have been a smoking hot price.
