Thanks for that! Ordered most of what I needed to get Captain America some wings. Beats regular price or paying to ship just the BAF wing parts.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

Posting this here and not in Sightings because it will probably prompt some discussion.

But damn..

We knew this was coming..

Saw Hulk at EBGamestop.

Meanwhile the much superior (and larger) Marvel Select Immortal Hulk cost $39.99.

Yeesh...that's ridiculous! Even the larger sized Swamp Thing mega figure from McFarlane Toys' DC Multiverse line costs less than that.

I'm just glad I only want the Captain America and Toad from that line.

Good lord man wtf. After tax you're paying $70+ without edge. With edge and after tax you're basically paying around the same as the price without edge and before tax. Ridiculous.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

Some Gamestops still have the 80th anniversary hulk available, and by that point, the value proposition is literally just 15 dollars for an extra figure lmao.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

The cardboard back drop and extra heads won't pay for themselves. That warrants the extra $20 you're paying for a figure that should really be $45. Hasbro logic strikes again. It makes no sense, in fact most of what they do makes no sense. At least until you realize it makes sense to them cause dollar dollar bills.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

This is how I feel about the 20th anniversary Toad. He's $45, and I see no reason for that... he's at best a basic line figure, and has one of the worst head sculpts I've ever seen. If they're trying to capture the vintage comic look, they failed.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

They knew Toad was a figure a lot of people needed for their collections and took advantage of thay by charging a ridiculous amount for him. There's no justifying it, it's just greed.
