Where are you seeing $80? I can't find a Canadian price anywhere, just the $53US.


If it is $80, I guess I am just numbed to current pricing, but it doesn't seem too high for a 13" figure.


Overall I like the look of the figure, even though I was never a fan of the MCU look for Surtur. I am pretty sure I will pick one up.

Amazon has a pre-order. I was able to get the link from an Instagram post, but it’s lost now.

And while it is bigger, it’s really not that complex and definitely not worth more than double a standard Marvel Legends release. Maybe it’s just me as a someone who is getting over the Marvel Legends line, but I feel that $80 is much better spent on pretty well every other toy line that I collect.

Sorry but I don't have Instagram. Here is a link to Fwoosh with a pic of Surtur in box next to Firestar for size comparison. (Scroll down about half the page)

Definitely would have liked bigger, but still a good size, and a nice explanation by Ryan (Hasbro Marvel team) why they couldn't.

Overall I still like it, but I am glad it isn't a specific exclusive. If Amazon and EB have it so will others hopefully. If it is a wide release I can wait to see if it drops in price, especially since I don't think he is that popular a character.

Also given the history of these anniversary style sets at retail I don't think this will move all that quickly and should end up discounted.
