Re: What Are You Watching?
Just watched the season finale of Boardwalk Empire last night. Awesome. Just awesome. It was predictable, and not as dramatically shocking as last season's, but it was hella fun. Richard is a one man army! lol. He's full-on more gangster than anyone else on this show except Capone. I still consider this show the best show on TV right now. I know some people are put off by how slow each season seems, with all the various random threads throughout, but everything always gets tied together quite nicely to make for very satisfying season finales. Other shows can learn from these guys when it comes to good endings. Great stuff.
Also watched Dexter and Walking Dead last night. Dexter continues to just prove that it's about time the show ended. Unfortunately, there is another season apparently. I really wish networks knew that it is always better to leave people wanting more. I'm really ready for Dexter to end. My personal opinion is that shows should not go longer than 4 or 5 seasons. WD was pretty good. Nothing amazing, but overall this season has been pretty solid. People were talking as if this mid season ender was a cliffhanger. I didn't really think so. Especially since the commercial for the next episode pretty much undoes any cliffhanger.
