GI Joe POC figures

I wasn't interested at all in the ROC toys, mostly cause I don't really care for movie figures in general. There's something creepy about seeing a toy version of a real person that I can't seem to get around. The POC figures look like Hasbro is going back to a more comic style, yet still resembling more realistic figures (at least gear and clothing-wise).

I also really like the box art. Probably get a few to keep MOC. I am actually really looking forward to these figures. Just preordered a case from BBTS. Anyone else into these?

Re: GI Joe POC figures

I was lukewarm on the ROC figures when they first came out and I would only buy the figures that didnt have the resemblance of anyone in the movie (I too thinks its creepy, except for harrison ford.. he can pull off an action figure). I got all the figures from the later waves as i thought they were awesome.

I can't wait for the POC figures to come out, they are the figures i am most anticipating this year. They look like pure awesomeness!

Definitely. To me, this seems like a logical evolution in the line. 25th ann was amazing as an update on classics, but POC seems a major step above. It almost seems like POC is a true update of the classics. It's like an uber modern interpretation. I really want Hasbro to continue the 25th anniversary line later on, maybe as 30th anniversary, but for now, POC will do. POC will do nicely.

Re: GI Joe POC figures

There have been a few sightings at TRUs in the US this past week regarding the Hiss and Wolf Hound. Also, some online stores fo them in as well. Just wondering if anyone saw any in Canada yet. Probably not, considering how much ROC crap is still left over, but one can hope

No luck yet.. Most places have little to no ROC left from what I've seen, well except toys r us they still have a lot left! So i would assume the creep into stores within the next month or so.

Yeah TRU seems to be the only place with any ROC left. I figure Walmart may be the first in Canada to get POC. I just want to be able to get my hands on some of these before my BBTS pre-orders goe through so I can cancel it.

I have an interest in some of the vehicles (the crazier they are the better I like them). And a few cobra troopers
