Wow. Wasn't expecting all that panel lining (...maybe a little overdone?).

I didn't order, but it makes me more optimistic about the Skystriker's finished look.

Re: Haslab Projects General Discussion

Got an email today from Hasbro Pulse asking me to confirm my address as the Razor Crest is in their warehouse, and they are prepping to start shipping them.

States I have until January 21st to make any changes. So I assume that means it won't start shipping until beginning of February. After that, if the Sentinel is any indication, we will probably be waiting up to 2 months in Canada before getting ours shipped.

Re: Haslab Projects General Discussion

To my utter surprise my Razor Crest just showed up!!!

I was expecting the same delay as with the Sentinel. So I wasn't expecting anything to show until March.

The box is just the shipper box, unlike the Sentinel which came in the shipper box, inside another box for added protection. So there are a few dings on the outside that may, or may not, cause some dings to the actual Razor Crest box. Unfortunately I can't open it until this evening to check.

Anyway, here is a shot of the box, in front of the Sentinel outer shipping box. (with Transformers Black Zarak's box on top)

Ignore the box to the left of the Razor Crest box, that is just an empty box leaning against the Sentinel box. The Razor Crest box is lined up with the Sentinel box on the left side to try and show the size difference. They are basically the same height, but obviously different widths.

Rumors circulating around the interwebs that the next Hasbro Black Series Haslab will be Reva's spinning lightsaber from the new Kenobi show.... at $500.

I guess the Rancor fiasco wasn't a big enough crash and burn, the team came back for more ::shrug::

Considering the stupid prices they ask for the Lightsabers now at regular retail, I could see Hasbro going back to the well for this unique design.

I have the kid version from Rebels (Grand Inquisitor version), and it is a great, unique, design. However I don't know if I would be willing to spend $500US for a better version. I mean what would the unlocks be for something like that?

Personally I could go for another shot at the Rancor, IF (and that is a big IF) Hasbro/SW team learned their lesson from the first Rancor fiasco. Better unlocks, better design, and maybe change it up this time by doing the one from Book Of Boba Fett instead.
