I don't even see the appeal of Amazon anymore. They don't have good prices anymore and their shipping system sucks. The last time I remember actually seeing REALLY good deals was back in 2015. After that they've just gotten progressively worse

I think the pandemic had so many millions of people relying on them more than ever that they don't feel the need to be as competitive as they once were.
Other than sales on pegwarmers, the usual XMas deals that Amazon offers around this time, haven't been so hot.

It reminds me of when Target left Canada and Walmart and Amazon completely overhauled their online systems for the worse as a final screw you we killed Target celebration.
I miss the post Christmas fire sales on Amazon...

It seems to be when they let in third party sellers, same with Walmart. Every new release sells out near instantly, then re-appears some time later for twice the price from places like CMDStore.

Yes for sure, anytime a retailer website allows for 3rd party sellers, they've utterly ruined that website for its regular customers. The scalpers should be forced to stick to eBay or kijiji. I don't want to see them on walmart.ca or amazon at all.

I've completely stopped ordering figures from Amazon. I'd rather pay the extra buck or two and support a small shop and know that I'm going to get my order and that it won't be cancelled.
