Re: Marvel Legends discussion

Reminder to check your WMs for clearance. Got 12 figs here today at $17.98 or $18 each plus GST:

I've been passing at full price ML6 for a while, so at half-price it was time to pull the trigger.

Unfortunately, Walmart clearances are store by store, and don't apply to all stores across the country. Nor will they price match any other Walmart store, or the website (even though they're supposed to).

However if you use Stocktrack you may get lucky. I don’t remember which ML figure that I recently looked up but one store had it listed for 50% off. Now I understand why. Clearance prices seemed to be reflected on the Stocktrack site it seems

Just don't waste too much gas hunting figure deals based on Stocktrack. You'll end up spending way more than you save, if their inventory numbers are even accurate.

Walmart is so unreliable, it's not even funny.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

I second what Philtastic said. Stock track is largely not reliable and you'd be better off just looking for the figure you want for the same price online

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

Gotta love when they "clearance" new waves.

Similar thing happened around here (Ottawa, Ontario) with the She-Hulk/Moon Knight wave. Though that was $19each.

Last week I saw the newer SW:BS wave (Grogu, Grand Inquisitor, Obi-Wan) for $19.97.

It is too bad that barely under $20 (before tax) is considered a good deal now.

Also online they still have older stuff on sale for $16.98 (Walmart)

That?s true too. Stocktrack showed Starlord as being in stock at my closest Walmart for weeks now. Associate event checked on his device and it showed six in stock
Still hasn’t shown up on the pegs
On a different topic, I’m hoping TRU gets in the target ant man soon.

To add context to this. Stocktrack became unreliable after people using it took things too far with employees in store believing the accuracy of the site to be gospel and forced Walmart to change how access to their inventory systems was available.

It isn't stocktracks fault their site isn't what it used to be, but as always it seems people ruined it.

That being said other sites available on stocktrack are still very reliable and accurate. But as always could change if the retailer decides to change how its inventory data is available.

Such is life. One day $30 a figure will be a deal.

That could be a case of the figures in the same wave being available than a specific figure and walmart can group figures of 1 wave for instance together. It's happened before with other waves.

I found before a store could be slated to receive those figures so it's showing in their inventory system but may not necessarily showing as received.

$99USD is the right price for it. THe exchange rate is a different thing. Looks very nice.
I haven't been excited for the Hasbro life size stuff for a while now.
