Re: Marvel Legends discussion

Any tips on how to get exclusives from Walmart? They just announced that the Retro Lizard is a Walmart exclusive and I really don't want to buy from eBay. Is there a specific time/day when new figures go on shelves?

You have to call your local Walmart and ask when new stuff comes in. I think it's different for each store.

I might be late to the discussion, but do Walmart Exclusives typically come to Canada, or are we reliant on Ebay? Anytime I check a Walmart its basically cleaned out.

Hit or miss with Walmart exclusives. Sometimes we get them, sometimes we don't. Sometimes we get them months after they've been released. It's pretty ridiculous.

Great, so now the prices will probably be in line with what TRU is currently asking.

I guess that means TRU will now have to get up to $50 for a regular ML......

Way to bring the fans down after a great bunch of reveals Hasbro.

I've found that it's been a roll of the dice, really; half the time the don't show up. I never saw 80th Cap anywhere and had to resort to ebay, though other fans here in different parts of the country said they saw him. My local WMs are also looking as though they're pretty much done with their toy section, but I suppose that isn't new, lol.

Star Wars WM exclusives have been turning up at Gamestops recently, but I've not heard anything official yet of their switching up. Might be worth keeping your eyes peeling at their outlets in case WM ML exclusives start showing up there too.

Either way, I'm not risking waiting for comic Doctor Strange to show up though and will thus go to ebay, sigh.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

Wow another price hike what a surprise. Why is it only Hasbro that is being affected by everything going on to the point of having to increase prices every quarter, while other companies are doing just fine?

Because they're greedy. This isn't about being affected by the economy anymore, they just want more money. They've already chased the majority of parents away from buying toys for their kids, it's only a matter of time where collectors back out and Hasbro's disappears.

We really need to start speaking with our wallets since Hasbro will not stay afloat without collectors.
