Just a little curious: THOR movie marvel legends
I'm a huge THOR fan. So I'm curious why Iron man 3, Captain america: WS and The amazing Spider-man 2 all have or had marvel legends build a figures but THOR.
Would anyone know why by any chance?
Or if they have read something about it.
The amazing spiderman sets have a few unwell known figures.
Captain america has 2 figures that are not alike a "must have".
so i'm curious why no marvel legends THOR for his movie?

Re: Just a little curious: THOR movie marvel legends
Hasbro for some silly reason has decided not to make them, perhaps they think his movies are not as popular or they are merging them with the Avengers Legends line.

One we have to understand is that toys are so are suppose to be catered towards kids and more importantly parents, so more often the heroes will be bought first in any toy line.
The figures in the spiderman line are well known to all Marvel comic fans.
As for the Captain America line, having Army building figures is an easy way to drive sales
I'd say for Thor if they planned out the line similar to cap's line it would work.

Re: Just a little curious: THOR movie marvel legends
Perhaps they are being alittle more picky with their marvel legends figures. Cause they upped the prices of marvel legends so maybe they didn't make thor marvel legends cause they were worried that if they made these figures kids/parents wouldn't know who they were and would not buy them.

Re: Just a little curious: THOR movie marvel legends
My guess is they couldn't come up with enough characters to complete a Marvel Legends wave.
Seems like they need at least 10 figures and 1 baf size character to round up a movie ML series. So Thor,Loki,Siff, a few bad guys. I guess not enough characters to round up 2 waves.
I think another reason is they don't have enough time. They have to work on Amazing Spiderman2 and Captain America 2

Mm, that couldn't be the case. It wouldn't explain why Wolverine Legends were made with only 4 figures in a wave to complete BAF Puck.

Re: Just a little curious: THOR movie marvel legends
The problem wasn't limited character choices (there are so many characters in the Thor-verse that this simply does not apply), or laziness, or popularity, at least according to Hasbro. When they spoke about it they said that (back when it was still going to be released in 2013) the Jubilee wave would make up the final wave of 2013. Then it was already 2014 and that year has what, 3 or 4 movies? It was essentially, make a Thor wave and skip Cap or Spidey (no one will ever skip Spiday), and with Thor 2 being a 2013 movie, they decided to go with figures for the upcoming movies. It was essentially timing problems. We can hopefully look forward to a Thor wave eventually, even if we have to wait until Thor 3.

Re: Just a little curious: THOR movie marvel legends
It's a shame. There could've been some potential ML figures like
Enchantress
Executioner
Loki (Hyperion mold or Bucky Cap mold)
Sif
Fandral
Hogun
Balder
Valkyrie (Moonstone or Red She Hulk mold)
and the BAF could be either Volstagg, Surtur, Odin and Midgard Serpent!
but yeah hopefully they'll do this for Thor 3.

I'm too familar with Thor so that's my guess. Does Thor's universe including any small size figures for a mini baf?
