So maybe like the last couple (Roadblock/Tripwire 2 pack, PP Trouble Bubble) TRU is no longer the sole outlet in Canada.

TSM also has it up, I'm sure amazon will also have it. I also think that this mass release will equal discounts in the future. 50% tigerforce duke/ram was easy to score, I will pick up if it happens with this.

I also think that the Ferret with a generic trooper would have done better as the mass release while wrecker should have been the pulse exclusive. Makes more sense from my perspective.

Taking a look at previous toy releases, https://www.yojoe.com/action/, you realize quickly how nuts this line can get down the road if it keeps going. Hasbro can go years releasing a ton of new characters without releasing a recolour/repeat for a very long time. Kinda makes me want to cinch up the coin purse and get real picky with things from here on.

Missed out on the 50% off on Duke+Ram. My TRU still has a ton of them. When can we expect another markdown like that?

That sale happened on or about Nov/Dec of 2023. Chances are you will see stuff like that at year end to clear stock. Signing up to the TRU R-Club (in store/online) will also benefit you and get you emails for when sales happen.

Other places also had discounts for a while. TSM had the Tiger Force Duke/RAM for $35 till they sold out which took a while in itself. Although they charge shipping on orders below $150. All the same, worth checking out the sites retail supporters to see what they have and sales.
