G.I. Joe Retaliation Figures & Vehicles Released in Canada

Thanks to sightings made by various AFN members, we now know that G.I. Joe Retaliation figures, 3-packs, and vehicles have hit Canadian retail. Wave one of the 3.75" figures consists of Duke, Commander Cobra, Roadblock, Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, Red Ninja, Cobra Trooper, G.I. Joe Trooper, and Zartan. Wave one of the 3-packs are Ninja Showdown Set (Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, Red Ninja), and Ninja Dojo Battle (Beachhead, Night Ops Road Block, Kamakura). Wave one bravo vehicles consist of Ninja Commando 4x4, and Cobra Fang Boat.

The sightings were made at Toys "R" Us in British Columbia, Manitoba, and Ontario.

Toys R Us in Upper Canada Mall (Newmarket) have stock.

They have these in Brampton as well, I wonder how long before they pull the stock due to no movie?

You know, the nice thing about them releasing the movie figures is that maybe there'll finally be another sale on Joe figures. I would love a BOGO sale, so I can pick up a bunch of Steel Brigadiers for cheap. Also, without a movie to get the figures moving, maybe a clearance isn't too far off, hehe.

Nice! Saw these today as well!

My local TRU also had the HISS tank and Ghost Hawk 2 vehicles. I believe the price tag for them were $21.99.

I can imagine that TRU HQ must be in a panic about this whole movie delay. My guess is that if these Joe figures don't sell strong in the next 2 weeks, they'll have to do a big sale to move this "stuff" off the shelves.

They seemed to have learned the lesson with Avengers and are actively trying to sell off the Avengers figures for 50% off, now that the movie momentum is dying down. Not unplausible that 50% off could apply to Joe too.

I doubt it'll come to that. The frenzy to buy these will make them disappear.
