Sell repainted clones over and over again a long with milking the Mandolorian until the anniversary of ROTJ when they can repack and resell everyone Endor Leia, Han and Luke, Boba and milk the OT once again for a year. Not only that but the fact that these figures are more trouble than they're worth to find too. For ya'll who enjoy buying the same figures over and over again good luck to you but I think I'm out.

I disagree with you about the prequel representation. In the past year and a bit they have done a better job. We have seen a bunch of prequel releases over the course of the last 3 years.
We have seen Dooku, Battle Droid, Mace Windu, Qui Gon, Clones galore, Cad Bane, Phantom Menace Obi Wan, Padme, Plo Koon, Kit Fisto, Padawan Anakin, Jedi Knight Obi Wan, Jar Jar, Ahsoka and Jango, just to name a few. Also there are rumours of Asajj Ventress and Aurra Sing coming. So I don't think they aren't well represented. The problem with the OT and ST is timing. 40th anniversary of ESB meant a fairly big push in recent waves, and the ST only finished last year so of course a new movie will get lots of product.
I do agree with you that the ease of acquiring them is terrible, and I agree with you on this being a big reason I don't collect much of the line anymore.
