G.I. Joe 25th anniversary question

Hi guys,

I bought some 25th figures and really do like collecting them. I had some questions regarding the top right corner....

1. Some say 25th, others say cartoon or comic. Why??

2. Is one more collectable than the other?? Which one is the better one to buy??

Thanks alot
Todd

Some toy decos are based on their comic appearances while other are based on how they looked in the cartoon. There is no better one to buy, it's up to you as a collector.

The ones that say "25th" usually have the embossed silver foil logo, which is usually the first release. The ones without the foil, that say "From the Comic" or "From the Cartoon" are later releases and can be found a bit cheaper (most of the time).

Re: G.I. Joe 25th anniversary question

Lately I've found them both priced about the same. The silver embossed are a bit rarer. I would also call the ROC Walmart 2packs 25th imo. Up until this xmas they could even be found at retail. I still find the odd one at winners too. Quite a few online stores have them reduced to sell now. I love em too. Happy hunting!!

If you're keeping them MOC, the 25th ann silver embossed are better IMO. They just look so much nicer. They're all still relatively the same price, though for certain figures it'll be more. If you're just opening them, I'd stick to whatever is cheaper.

I just figured as the line continued past the 25th anniversary, they couldn't label it "25th Anniversary".
