Let's wait and see. I thought TRU being bought by Putman would be a good thing and turns out it was more of a "careful what you wish for situation."

Good things from that statement, but the proof will be in the pudding a year from now when they are no longer beholden to any of the old structures.

Still at least this means we don't lose another retailer, for now, in Canada.

For the folks that pre order, I was watching a video. Sounds like close to $1500 cnd in new Classified is gonna drop over the next month or two.

The amount boggles my mind a little bit.

I am thankful I have cut back on my preordering. I stick to, mostly, exclusives for preorder. Most everything else I am fine waiting until release. However looking at what I have on preorder:

Retro Mindbender and Viper
Crystal Ball (August)
MASS Breaker (Sept)
SNAKE Armour (July)
CLAW (August)
Fortification w/Trench Viper (Sept)
MASS Diver 2-pack (Oct)

The only one I have already paid for is Breaker because I got him at DJC Collectibles and you have to pay upfront for preorders. Otherwise everything else is going to be paid when the time comes.

If all that hit at once it would be extremely painful. Hopefully they stick to the release dates. If they move up the release dates, I hope they keep them spaced apart.

I think more and more companies are starting to realize they can make more money by selling less product for higher prices. They know how many people will buy and for how much and they'll keep pushing the boundaries as long as it's profitable.

The math is there to be done if someone wants, but I don't feel like there is less product. At least not for GI Joe.
