Re: The AFN Star Wars Cantina Social Thread

I guess I forgot to mention more Celebration 5 news from last week on the book front.

Aaron Allston will be writing a new Wraith Squadron novel, Imperial Commando 2 is officially cancelled.

Also Blood Ties just came out this week. Check it out!

Re: The AFN Star Wars Cantina Social Thread

I believe its the same writer thats doing Invasion which makes me think it won't be a story that I really take to.

I do love Harrison and Ostrander though.

And the title of the Nomi Sunrider novel is Mandorla, but its unknown if it actually has anything to do with Mandalorians or if they are just a backdrop in the KotOR era novel.

As much as i like Mando's i think it's time to gear down on them.

Half teh reason i like them was becuase there was many of them, and wasn't many stories about them.

Now they're everywhere. You can't swing a gaffi stick and not hit a mando

I'd rather read about them than Jedi, but I'm a little unconventional at this point

Re: The AFN Star Wars Cantina Social Thread

I was checking out the new Hardback Clone Wars Battles Book at Chapters last night. It's only $22.99 and looks to be all kinds of awesome.

I noted entries for Koth, Gallia and Tera Sinube that looked interesting when I flipped through.

Re: The AFN Star Wars Cantina Social Thread

My buddy picked up the last copy of the Boba Fett Omnibus from Newmarket Chapters last night, so it looks like I am going to have to have the store order it in for me.
