You can't say never but the chance TRU comes back in its old form in the USA seems unlikely at the moment. So if I said TRU is dead in the USA, that's what I was referring to.

As mentioned, TRU Canada is currently in safe hands with its connection to Sunrise and Everest Toys so we are kinda lucky even though prices keep rising. Hopefully, they can improve their website and shipping.

Toy Snow Man put up a YouTube vid saying that the BAT and Alley viper wave 7 are coming to Canada end of December.

Someone also was tipped that this wave has a street date at TRU for December 1.

So wondering where these will show up first. I assume Walmart would be the first to have them in store but who knows at this point.

Anyone else have any leads? Want some for under the tree.

Unless Hasbro Canada is getting them extremely early, they are advertised as a June /July release.

I assume this is a second run as distributors are getting these already. Walmart stateside had some.

They are probably looking to gauge their order quantity for the next run.

YT Viper Island hands out garbage info. He called out Dr.Mindbender with T.Bubb as getting released but it was Breaker instead. Dude also called the dumpster dive find of A.Viper shield and BAT head as fake when they were legit. His list of failed/false info is loooooooooong.

A.Viper/BAT is expected to roll out at the start of Jan in Canada but there won't be enough stock for pre-orders and not all retailers will be able to get them. This pertains to online retailers. In-store is another story which nobody has legit info on so far.

June/July is the expected full scale roll out which is to say everyone who wants one should be able to score it with ease at retail price from multiple vendors. Much like the infantry and ninjas now.

I imagine we will see BBQ before the army builders hit shelves.

Really happy the BAT and AV are general releases. Got a couple small orders in to start things off this morning, but it's nice to see collectors able to just order them without jumping through hoops.

Still keeping my eyes peeled for Barbecue whenever he shows.
