Re: Marvel Legends discussion

Yeah it really depends I guess - my first order came thru USPS/Canada post with no charge. I should’ve figured I’d get dinged when I saw UPS

I'll try to find it. It was in an article in the Google News feed a couple days ago.

Can't seem to find it anywhere now. It was talking about the limit being raised, as well as a few other highlights. It said it might take a while for everything to drop into place, but they didn't provide any quotes or proff of that, so may have been pure speculation on the journalist's part (state of the media these days!)

While searching, I found another very pertinent article though. Speaks to what you were saying re: $150 limits, if sent with UPS or FedEx, etc:

https://business.financialpost.com/n...ot-canada-post

Of note is this quote "the changes are causing confusion and concern for customs agents who now have more work to try to sort out whether packages need to go through customs or not." So it seems not everything is clear-cut, and it might take an adjustment period for everyone to apply the new rules evenly. That might be what the other article was referring to.

Re: Marvel Legends discussion

Surely any 'savings' in this 'new and improved' USMCA deal are offset by the fact that it only applies if you ship using a courier...which are way more expensive than the good old post office. So if you bought $100 worth of product before, you might get dinged customs and taxes, but now you'll pay the same amount in courier shipping. Sideways move.

Hm, I wonder why they’re shipping theirs early, per se, whereas other suppliers are stating \September/October.

Agreed. I'll probably just continue using my US mailbox and bring packages back over the border myself.
Once it opens back up, that is.

I know he's not a Marvel Legend, but has anyone seen the Diamond Select Disney Store Taskmaster in the wild yet (at the Disney Store)?
