Hasbro's September STAR WARS Q&A Answers for ActionFigureNews.ca

AFN: The big AT-AT is certainly an amazing toy, perhaps only second to the BMF. There are two things I noticed however about this release: there's no mini-Darth Vader hologram (with his hands on his hips) included for Veers to answer to and I believe in the movie the cockpit also had a periscope that Veers would pull down to peer through. Are there plans for a future TVC General Veers figure that would basically include remedies to these missing bits as accessories that plug into the cockpit? Obviously fans want to be able to recreate as many of the authentic moments from ESB as possible!
Hasbro: We don't have a Veers in the plan, but your suggestions are actually very cool. We'll take them into account if/when Veers becomes a prospect.

AFN: Is there a possibility that the recently announced exclusive Target, Kohl's and K-Mart toys will be made available to Canadian retailers should they choose to want to stock the item(s)? Will Canada ever see Hondo Ohnaka and Aayla Secura in single card in a later assortment?
Hasbro: We will offer them to other retailers in Canada for consideration. We try to secure distribution for every item we make in every country, but the reality is that not all retailers have the same appetite for exclusives, or the means to buy when we have to go into production. Canada will *not* receive distribution of the Hondo Ohnaka and Aayla Secura figures unless the figures are re-released in a future year. Right now there are no concrete plans to re-release them given the difficulty fans have had in finding them.

HMMMMM....wouldn't that give a company more incentive to re-release figures that just admitted to screwing up? (Right now there are no concrete plans to re-release them given the difficulty fans have had in finding them.) So mass produce them, They were released in US, UK, and Asia!!! Oh wait lets just re-release last years wave over and over again to the CDN public....Thank god for China and eBay, no wait thats no good either.

Helpful answers I must admit, too bad Aayla and Hondo won't be finding their way over here any time soon though.

Glad to hear they took the holo-Vader accessory as a serious future consideration. One of the rare things missing from the Big AT-AT that was otherwise a stunning toy.
