got hit the dreaded figure swap at TRU today. I called them and said to bring it back in to get a refund. That was a surprise.

LOL these guys don't even try. That really sucks. But funny at the same time. Of course it happening to you isn't funny but the fact it happened is funny.

They carefully put everything in there. Sealed with tape very similar to what hasbro used.

My TRU gave me a refund today in case they didnt have any on the shelf. They were apologetic cause they cant really stop it from happening. They had 2 in stock so when I came back to pay for 1, the manager said to open it right there to make sure Spinneret and Spiderman where there since I told them I open them and display them. The Spineret and Spiderman where there.

I was initially worried about getting a refund or exchange since they changed their policies around but they followed through.

Policy or not by law if the item you purchased isn't what it was supposed to be or in this case a good case for defective they MUST exchange it.

Honestly at this point as soon as you purchase crack it open right in front of them to be sure.

When I was at TRU a few weeks ago I saw that a Noir Spider-Man had it's tape tampered with (fully removed and stuck elsewhere on the box). Its easy to see if you comparing to factory tape. Based on the price it's not a surprise to see that one swapped (or more likely straight up stolen.)

I can't see these Windowless boxes continuing beyond next year. It's only a matter of time before retailers start losing money from this and get on Hasbro's ass making them change it because if there's one thing Hasbro loves more than the environment, it's money.

Animated Spideys are starting to ship out from Walmart.ca

Check your gamestops, Mr. Knights shipped out to stores and just got my figure. Some stores got multiple stock, while some got only 1.

Apparently this is supposed to be one of the more difficult figures to find.
