It's probably that the intern who updates the web page was not familiar with the product and basically just discribed the what they saw: a blue guy who looks like a leader....
Hasbro's 'code names' that they use pre-release are kind of like that. Jyn was always referred to as something like "Green Leader" in all the pre-sale stuff before R1 came out.
