Still not horrible by today’s standards, especially considering that they were supposed to be $19.99 from the start.

Re: Masters of the Universe Origins discussion

Colour me shocked.

With the recent TRU price increases I expected these to be over $20 easy. I. Ant believe TRU kept something reasonably priced. Good to know they can still be a resource for product with feeling like I'm being gouged.

The MotU Origins figures haven't sold that well so maybe they realize that scalping these figures isn't going to move them off the pegs.

I only started collecting MotU because they were cheap quite frankly. If they started moving into $24.99 territory, I'd be out again.

Re: Masters of the Universe Origins discussion

I think it's hard to gauge the popularity of Origins figures in Canada considering how spotty the distribution has been. The first couple of waves with core characters were barely on shelves. Some waves I never saw at all. It was wave 5 (Fisto, Faker, Evil Lyn 2.0, Merman LOP) that really clogged up the shelves. There seems to have been an endless supply. I've never seen an Origins wave stocked like that one. They're still lingering at my local Walmart. Meanwhile I had to resort to buying Tri-Klops from Amazon US.

Re: Masters of the Universe Origins discussion

Yeah the distribution for this line has been piss poor in Canada. An excess amount of wave 3 and 5 and a shitload of Battlecats, Ram Man's and Clamp Champs. Castle Greyskull and all the vehicles have been easy to find. Meanwhile waves 4 and 6 are nowhere to be seen and the first couple waves were in very limited supply.

My local Canadian Tire put all the MOTU:O stuff back up to full price after they were on clearance for 50% off a couple weeks back.

It was sporadic.

Nothing marked down at PoCo but Langley had all MOTU on clearance?

Noticed same at Wal Mart, that Adam/Skysled set has been on clearance for 19.00 at PoCo but full price at all other locations I?ve been to.
